Answer :
1. YES. they do have a chocolate buffet one of the last nights. WHen i went on carnival glory they had one and it was like heaven :P Soo delicious. And many of the other nights they have other types of buffets like mexican and indian. The mexican buffet is good too.

2. YES and YES. The one thing i hate about cruises is you dont get to try everything because you get so full. The Dining room food is delicous. Just a word of advice: At dinner make sure you try the WARM CHOCOLATE MELTING CAKE I get it everynight because its so good. If you dont like what you order at dinner you can ask to try something else if you dont like it. Once i got a vegitarian dinner and i absoloutly hates it because i was just gonna try something new and im no vegitarian and my waiter suggested me to try a few other plates during that dinner. The buffets are good too when you have the cravings at night. I like to eat at night and the Pizza Bar is go good. Try the margarita Pizza :].

3. YES. They are always so nice and funny. I had a waitress when i went on carnival glory names Jinkee and she took a picture with me everynight. She even brought my cake on my birthday. Theyre so freiendly because its better than their life at home.

4. DEPENDS ON WHAT DRINKS YOURE GETTING.
Soft drinks : $2 unless you get a fountain fun card which is about $40 for the week fo unlimited pop.
Beer: $5
Champagne and Wine(6oz glass): $6-$8
Specialty Cocktails:$5
Frozen Exotic cocktails: $6
Martinis: $7
Hard liquor: $5-$8

5. On Carnival Paradise i believe there is 14 Decks

6) YES. Ive personally never tried it because im alergic but my friend ate it most nights and she loved it.

7) NO. You dont need to, theyll understand.

8) There is no set buffet. they are all around on the main deck. There is 2 pool bars outside i believe. They are by the pool lol. Usually by a staircase there is one. One on oneside of the ship and one on the other side.

9)YES. WHen i was 17 i went to CLub o2. Since youre 13 youre going to be allowed to go in Circle C. i know it sounds dumb but its really not. MOst kids your age are going to be there. Its dancing and activities.

PROS AND CONS: Everything is amazing. Many people, alot of food and tons of things to do. Just read the itenerary on your bed they put there after dinner. I dont believe there are Cons. :]

I do reccomend this. Because its called the fun ship for a reason, Its made for kids your age. You will meet plenty of people. Its amazing and youll never forget it.

A tip is to do as much as you can on and off the ship because your only on there for a week:]

How would anybody rate the Paradise ship from Carnival?

I'm 21 going on this cruise in August just wanted to know how or what to expect thanks

Answer :
I have not been on the Paradise, but have been on the Carnival Ecstasy. This ship is in the same class as the Ecstasy, the Fantasy class. I found a review of the Paradise on the Internet, and will tell you some of the information I found. Paradise offers four different dining times. The times are far enough apart, so that no one feels rushed to finish their meal. The Paris Cafe, located on Lido deck, offers a casual setting and great food. There is also a complimentary sushi bar on board. But beware, the line is usually long and forms quite early. The America Bar and Rotterdam Bar offer a nice place to meet with friends before or after dinner. Guests enjoy the Paradise Bar during the day. The ship's Internet Center is located adjacent to the Paradise Bar. Computer packages range from 25 cents per minute to 75 cents with no pre-purchased options. The staterooms are an average of 185 square feet, and seem to be designed for simply sleeping and showering. Carnival has just added new bedding fleet wide, and the additions are quite comfortable. Each cabin comes with a desk, a chair, a bed, and adequate storage space. The in-stateroom television offers three channels. The evening shows are wonderful, and offer multiple show times to accommodate the different dinner seatings. After that, one can find a comedian or show of some sort in the Paradise's ten lounges and bars. One of the most utilized features of the ship is the casino, which offers slots and 12 tables. For daytime activities, you should check your Carnival Caper (delivered to your stateroom each night) for times and locations. The gym and spa has just received an extensive makeover, giving it a soothing feel. The Nautica Spa and salon offers a wide array of treatments and services. There are two adult pools, one with Carnival's signature water slide. The pool with the slide tends to be more noisy and crowded, as it is favored among kids. The aft pool on Deck 11 is quieter and offers ample room for sunbathing. A jogging track, basketball hoop, golf cage, and Ping Pong tables can be found on Deck 12. The dress code is casual during the day, resort casual in the evening, with one formal night per cruise. Gratuities are automatically added to your Sail & Sign Account, and may be adjusted as you see fit. The ship is squeaky clean, and beautifully furnished. The Paradise offers a floor plan that is easy to navigate. The staff on this ship offer "service with a smile." Judging by the information I discovered, I would give the Paradise an eight out of ten. I hope this information helps. Have fun on your cruise!

Answer :
I have been on 13 Carnival cruise ships including the Paradise in 2002. It's a great ship, big but not too big. I like this size ship best. The Promenade deck is directly below the Lido deck so you can bake in the sun as long as you like then walk down ONE flight of stairs and hit the casino. Those are the decks you'll spend most of your time on and unlike the newer ships they are not 4 to 7 decks apart. Enjoy your trip!

Answer :
My husband and I went on the Carnival Paradise 3 day trip to Ensenada in March of 2005. We had an extremely good time that we came back and booked the 8 Day Mexican Riviera for November of that same year.

The Paradise is a one of the smaller boats (about 855 feet) it is plenty big enough for a 3-4 day cruise and getting to know the ship in a short amount of time.

We found the best bar server his name was James, he took care of all of our alcohol needs throughout the entire trip!

There was a younger crowd on the 3 day cruise as I anticipated (My husband and I are young as well in our 20's)

The casino on this cruise ship is extremely small. But it did have Roulette!

We booked an inside cabin and got upgraded to a Oceanview when we boarded. We went in March but in August the cruise might be more crowded which would be less chance of an upgrade.

My husband and I really enjoy carnival cruises we are going on our 3rd one together this September for our first wedding anniversary. This time we are doing the 5 day that leaves from San Diego and goes to Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada.

I hope you have a fun time on your cruise, there is always a ton of stuff going on!!
