Does anyone know if they have updated this ship? Such as the waterslide and if they have put the movie screen on deck?

most of their ships have been refurbished, but go to the carnival website and go to fun ships and then directly to the ship that you are interested in and it will tell you how big it is when it was built and how newly refurbished it is.

Paradise definitely has a water slide, and had a major refit pretty recently (last year, I think).
However, she'll get the full "evolutions of fun" overhaul later this year.
I don't think there are any plans to put a movie screen on the deck. But this is what her sister ship, Imagination, looks like (post-update):
